Opening with grades 1 and 2 for the 25 - 26 school year.
WHO WE ARE
The Drake Academy of Excellence is a private, non-profit elementary and middle school with a vision to be a catalyst for systemic educational change by modeling innovative and research-driven strategies that develop students, teachers, and leaders.
WHAT WE DO
We partner with educational pioneers and leadership experts from the Harvard Graduate School of Education to lead systemic change. We train educators, leaders, and community members in human development, curriculum and instruction, and educational change through workshops designed in collaboration with leading experts. We also support children and adults as they shift from the ideals of manual labor, seen in the industrialized school model, to a framework that inspires students to engage in mind work and direct their own learning.
